Latinos for Education – Board Fellowship

Very excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve our community.

I was lucky to be one of the 10 candidates who were selected to join the The Latino Board Fellowship, an innovative initiative that helps diversify the educational leadership network in the city.

The Latino Board Fellowship identifies, supports and places Latinos working within and outside the education sector in New England and Greater Houston onto governing boards of schools and education nonprofit organizations. As a board member, you have an important role to play in addressing educational inequity and influencing better educational outcomes for all children.

ALPFA Boston: LEVERAGING YOUR BRAND

ALPFA Boston partnered up with Ernst and Young LLP to host a discussion on personal branding and networking! It was an honor to be invited to speak to young professionals on the topic of personal branding. Creating your brand is so important! Your personal brand is what differentiates you from others.

Ask yourself a few questions:

What makes you unique?

How do you stand out from your peers?

If you have the ability to mentor or give back, please do so. It is such a rewarding experience that not only impacts your life but more importantly can change someone’s life.
